I live in a humidifier (Orlando, Florida) with my three beautiful daughters and our lunch-meat snarfing cat, Sally.
When I was young, my grandfather had quite the reputation for his barbecued chicken. Everyone raved about it (what else would you expect from Mid-westerners, right?), and I found myself wanting to learn how to cook. This was the beginning of my experimentation in the kitchen.
After being medically retired from the Army in 2013, I rekindled the love for cooking I had when I was a boy. interested in cooking while raising my kids (three girls), difficult finding things they like to eat and enjoy. drove me to experimenting with basic recipes and things i found while online.
In my free time, I love to go fishing, ride my Harley, and read.
On this blog, I share some of the best recipes and cooking tips I’ve accumulated over years of experimenting. My goal is to help you learn how to experiment with your own cooking and handle food like a pro.
Along with recipes, tips, and tricks, I also occasionally use this blog to share my memories of life in the military, and to tell the world what it’s like being the father of three girls (eesh).
You’ll find I typically post two to three times a month. I can’t promise I will always meet this requirement (being a Dad obviously takes top priority). But if you subscribe to posts from this blog, you will always receive an email when something new pops up.
